The Joint UNL/UNO Doctoral Program in Educational Administration prepares scholastic leaders for a role in elementary-secondary school education and is designed specifically for the professional practitioner. In addition to online courses, two summer sessions on the UNL or UNO campus are required to allow students access to classes not delivered via distance education. The University of Nebraska has a residency requirement, which you must fulfill as you do your work. If you are employed full time as an educator while in the program, you must complete a minimum of 24 semester hours in at least one 24 calendar month period. If you are not employed in education, you must complete 27 hours in an 18-month period.
